Use of Facilities

Thank you for your interest in renting facilities from the Sunnyside Unified School District.We are excited to launch a new portal for use of facilities request. Please use the following link to start the process Register - FMX.You will need to create an account once you access the link. The website will walk you through the progress.

PLEASE NOTE

  1. Rental and/or energy fees must be paid prior to event(s).
  2. School facilities are available for rent to public agencies and to responsible and properly organized community groups for the purpose of education, elections, and civic welfare.
  3. All requests must be made thru the GOFMX Portal no less than 21 DAYS PRIOR to the scheduled event/activity.
  4. All requests are subject to pre-determined guidelines and must be Governing Board approved.
  5. All lessees must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance naming SUSD as a certificate holder on the $1,000,000 policy.
  6. Rental rates and categories for rates are provided below.

NOTE:School-related functions and events take precedence over rental requests from outside organizations.

Community Rates

  • Charity groups for fundraisers
  • Churches
  • Civic Clubs
  • Community Colleges/Universities
  • Homeowners Associations (does not include meetings arranged through commercial companies)
  • Non-Profit community meetings
  • Social Groups
  • YMCA Non-District related programs
  • Youth Sports Programs: Non-School Related

Any event that requires outside lights will result in charge for cost of electricity. Fees for Youth Sports Program may be waived if majority of participants are Sunnyside Unified School District students.

Rental Rates

Rental fee is based on a 2 hour minimum (unless otherwise noted). Custodial/Security/Kitchen staff fee is billed at $25/hour.

Energy fee: When deemed appropriate, additional “energy” fee shall be calculated and charged.
