Law and Public Safety

This program prepares students for advanced training, further education and immediate employment in the law and public safety field through skills development in areas such as forensic investigative techniques to process crime scenes and fingerprints. Civil and criminal procedures are also taught in a simulated courtroom environment. Students also examine the critical roles of corrections, rehabilitation and probation.

Thanks to a partnership with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, students who successfully complete this program, receive support to streamline the process of applying and entering the academy for the Sheriff’s Office.
