Sunnyside Unified School District has officially kicked off the Sunnyside High School Transformation Project with its first two Steering Committee meetings, held on August 25 and September 15. The committee brings together students, SHS staff, parents and community members to help reimagine a campus that honors Sunnyside’s proud legacy while expanding possibilities for future generations.

Grace Design Studios, the project’s architectural firm, is leading these meetings to gather input and explore what the new SHS could be. Committee members are sharing ideas about spaces that support learning, strengthen connections and reflect the aspirations of our Sunnyside community.
