Mission The mission of the Sunnyside District Alumni Association is to promote graduation, lifelong learning and pride in the Sunnyside District. The Sunnyside District Alumni Association \| Dollars for Scholars Chapter Sunnyside District alumni and friends have formed an association with a mission to promote graduation, lifelong learning and pride in the Sunnyside District. The Association raises funds for scholarships, and inducts honorees into the Sunnyside District Hall of Fame. Students, apply now for a Dollars for Scholars scholarship! The Sunnyside Alumni Association was named the 2011 National New Chapter of the Year by Dollars for Scholars/Scholarship America. The Hall of Fame honors individuals or groups who have made notable contributions to the Sunnyside educational system, the community, and their chosen profession. Any person or group interested in nominating a candidate for the Hall of Fame may contact Monique Soria at 545-2093. Nominations are due June 11, 2012.
