What is the Arizona Tax Credit Program?
The Arizona tax credit program allows you to receive a tax credit of up to $200 for single individuals (or head of household) or $400 for married couples filing a joint return ($200 if married filing separately) for your donation to the school of your choice.

What is a tax credit?
A tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar reduction in the tax you owe. Only individuals, not corporations, are eligible for this credit. If the credit is more than the amount of taxes you owe, the credit can be carried forward for up to five years.

Do I have to include my social security number on the form?
No, including your social security number is optional.

How does this program benefit our schools?
100% of the money you donate goes directly to the school of your choice, to help fund extracurricular activities such as field trips, after-school programs and sports equipment.

How do I make a donation?
It’s simple. Download a donation form. Fill it out and send it in with your donation, made payable to the school of your choice. You may hand-deliver your donation to any school or you may mail your donation, postmarked by December 31, to Sunnyside Unified School District, 2238 E. Ginter Road, Tucson, AZ 85706.

Once I send in my donation, is there anything else I need to do?
Yes. When you file your taxes, you will need to include a special form for tax credit donations. When forms become available, after the first of the year, you will need to download Arizona Form 322.
