Teacher Compensation and Incentives


As a district focused on redefining the teaching profession, we strive to provide incentives so that our teachers can improve their craft while remaining in the classroom. Our competitive compensation structure takes into account M&O funds as well as recent additional funding from the Arizona legislature to put into effect an immediate 10% increase in teacher pay.

The average projected teacher salary for fiscal 2020 is $53,107.

*PROP 301 amount subject to annual revision. Amount contingent upon Classroom Site Fund revenues.
**Classroom Site Fund "Performance Pay" of up to $4,400 ($2,600 for individuals placed on Step 1) in 2019-2020. This additional amount is based on 1) Evaluation Rubric Score, 2) Exhibit G completion and 3) student growth, and prior year and continued year employment.
