Summit View Elementary students K-5 participated in Jump for the Heart in February and raised $945 in donations.

Featured in the Community Food Bank 2011 calendar are works of art by Mission Manor students Amy Cordova and Rudy Ochoa, and Summit View student Jazmin Leal-Villa. Mary Flynn is art teacher at Mission Manor and Olga Campos is the art teacher at Summit View.

Craycroft and Summit View's new Master Teacher Mentors
Anna Schwartz-Warmbrand, instructional coach for Craycroft Elementary School, and Tammi Bauschka, instructional coach for Summit View Elementary School, have been recognized as Arizona Master Teacher Mentors. They completed a one-year certification process and will work on model lessons for teachers, provide coaching and help schools with improvement goals. More »

Summit View students raised $1,021 to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund.
Summit View raises money for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Summit View Elementary School students raised $1,177 in a Pennies for Patients Drive to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
