Sunnyside High Academic Decathlon

Sunnyside High Academic Decathlon competed in a 10-event scrimmage at Buena High School . Carlos Sanchez of the Scholastic team took first place overall. Teresita Sanchez, on the Scholastic team, took first place in Interview and had the highest interview score at the competition.

Judges needed
The team will compete in another 10-event scrimmage Dec. 2-3 at Canyon del Oro High School, and is in need of volunteer judges for Speech, Interview and Essay (each school needs six judges). Judges would need to be at CDO from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2; full training and a delicious dinner are included. Teachers receive recertification hours.
