Rivera teacher Leslie Maier a Remarkable Mom

Rivera kindergarten teacher Leslie Maier will be honored as a Remarkable Mom on Saturday, May 7 at Tu Nidito’s Remarkable Celebration at Loews Ventana Canyon. Leslie joined Moms on Meningitis and the National Meningitis Association, and worked with the Arizona State Health Department to establish the requirement that students entering sixth grade get the meningitis vaccine. Leslie is featured in the May issue of "Tucson Lifestyle" magazine.
