Principal's 2011-2012 Welcome Letter

Dear Parents,

I want to welcome you to Summit View Elementary School, home of the Mountain Lions! The 2011-2012 school year is just around the corner and I am excited to be leading the charge into another amazing year here at Summit View. Our learning community will continue to focus on producing students that have the required skills to compete in today’s global economy, along with strong character and ethics to contribute as informed citizens at all levels. We are focused on becoming a 21st Century Learning Community and one of the major elements of this is the use of technology. I have highlighted for you some upcoming events that will be kicking off the school year:

Wednesday, August 3rd - Meet Your Teacher Night K-2 @ 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm in the Cafeteria

Wednesday, August 3rd - Meet Your Teacher Night 3-5 @ 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm in the Cafeteria

Tuesday, August 9th - Kinder Parent Meeting @ 9:00 am in the LRC

Wednesday, August 31st - Open House (Homeroom and SFA Teachers)
