Poetry Out Loud at Sunnyside High

The winners of the 4th Annual Sunnyside High School Poetry Out Loud recitation contest held on February 2 were:

• Karina Latimer, 1st place
• Cassandra Valadez, 2nd place
• Teresita Sanchez, 3rd place

They will compete at the Southern Arizona regional finals at 7 p.m. on March 1 at the University of Arizona Poetry Center.
