Lauffer students awarded scholarships to Earth Camp

Lauffer Middle School students Alonzo Monarrez, Nathalie Gomez, Lange Navarro, Brandon Summers, and Deliah Shellhouse successfully completed an extensive scholarship application process including essays, teacher recommendations, and parent essays to be among only 20 students from Tucson accepted into the Laurel Clark Earth Camp. The camp is sponsored by Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, the University of Arizona, and the Planetary Science Institute Collaboration.
