Esperanza teacher's son and wife in El Rio Health Center video
Lucas Johan and Valerie, son and wife of Esperanza PE teacher Jorge Valencia, were featured in a promotional video for El Rio Health Center.
Rodel Exemplary Teacher finalists from Gallego and Esperanza
Three SUSD teachers have been named Rodel Exemplary Teacher finalists: Kim Valdez of Gallego Basic Elementary School, Susan Gamez of Esperanza, and Adriana Gallego of Esperanza.

Esperanza students nominate teacher for Teacher of the Month
Esperanza fourth-grade teacher Stephanie Milonas was nominated by her students as Bear Essential News/Peter Piper Teacher of the Month. She was highlighted in the May 2010 edition of Bear Essential News for Kids.
