Special education means specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of a student with a disability. Services are available to meet the needs of all students with disabilities in district who are eligible and need special education and related services in order to benefit from their educational program.

Hours of Program
The preschool special education program is a partial-day program. The hours are as follows:

9:00-11:30 a.m. & 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
9:00-11:30 a.m. & 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. Wednesday

*there are no afternoon classes the first Wednesday of every month
*there are no classes on Friday

In order for a child to be considered for enrollment the child will need to go through a screening and/or a series of evaluation depending upon the needs of the individual child. The results of the testing and placement options are discussed with the parents.
