We provide services to district special education students and support all K-12 special education staff and preK -12 school psychologists.

Special education means specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of a student with a disability. Services are available to meet the needs of all students with disabilities in district who are eligible and need special education and related services in order to benefit from their educational program.

Students with disabilities are those children evaluated as having:

  • Autism (AUT)
  • Emotional Disability (ED)
  • Hearing Impairment (HI)
  • Other Health Impairments (OHI)
  • Specific Learning Disability (SLD)
  • Mental Retardation (MIMR/MOMR/SMR)
  • Multiple Disabilities (MD/MDSSI Severe Sensory Impairment)
  • Orthopedic Impairment (OI)
  • Preschool Delays: Moderate, Severe, Speech/Language Delay (PMD/PSD/PSL)
  • Speech/Language Impairment (SLI)
  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
  • Visual Impairment (VI)
