The Parent As Teachers program offers personal visits from a parent educator offering timely, age-appropriate information including:
- Prenatal care for healthy fetal growth and development.
- What to expect as your child grows and develops.
- How to encourage intellectual development, curiousity, and language development.
- Group meetings providing opportunities for parents to get together to discuss concerns and to share ideas.
- Complete screening of child's vision, hearing, and development so any problems can be identified and treated promptly.
Program Services
- Monthly personal visits by a certified parent educator.
- Group meetings with your children and other parents. Meetings will provide information on age-appropriate topics.
- One-hour Stay and Play Time offered once a month at neighboring elementary schools.
- Toy and Book Lending Library.
