Desert View Gives for Thanksgiving!

DV Food DriveTwenty-three families had nice healthy food boxes with big fat turkeys to enjoy the holiday.  As a result of the gracious food and monetary donations, enough was raised to get a jump start on Desert View’s annual Christmas toy drive which kicked off this week.  More »

DVHS Students Featured by Raytheon


Throughout the school year, women engineers from Raytheon Missile Systems visit four days a week, working with girls on projects including the construction of a miniature solar house and the design of a basic alarm system. Other areas of study include computer programming and physics.

Desert View Spotlighted for BEST PRACTICES


The Desert View High School iSTEM Academy (selected programs: Precision Machining, Mechanical Drafting and Engineering) have been recommended to be listed as a national Best Practice example for the Manufacturing Institute brochure campaign.
