Bus Driver Hiring Process

Upon hiring employees of the transportation department our bus drivers are required to go through an extensive hiring procedure. Applicants apply on line and must meet the requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Measles, Mumps, And Rubella ( MMA)
• 21 years or older
• 5 year of safe driving record
• To understand, read and write English
• Pass drug test ( random)
• To meet the physical requirements of the Transportation Department physical exam and Arizona Department of Public Safety Physical Agility Test

Applicants will complete a finger print card and under go a background application question prior to certification with the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
