The establishment of a community school is the result of almost a year of research and planning, which included a survey of 400 local families. La Frontera Center provided a staff member dedicated to this project for the past year to conduct research and planning. The community school will offer services such as fitness classes, homework help, technology training and a computer lab, all free of charge. Services and facilities will be available Monday through Thursday, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Program coordinators are currently seeking grant funding to support the program.
