Family Day hosted by Science Downtown July 7

Science Downtown, non-profit associated with the University of Arizona’s Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, will host Family Day on Saturday, July 7, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Science Downtown Family Day will feature activities such as make your own comet, make a crater, paint a planet, hunt for meteorites, and control robotic arms.  More »

Brain Awareness 2012: Summer Mini-Camp for high school students

Let's Move!, First Lady Michelle Obama's initiative to solve the problem of childhood obesity within a generation, is looking for parents or legal guardians of creative kid chefs from all over the country to submit their child’s recipe for a healthy and nutritious lunch. A winning child and parent/guardian from each state and territory will be invited to join a Kid’s "State Dinner."  More »

Literacy Connects presents Stories that Soar!

The Best of Stories that Soar! will be presented Sunday, May 20 at the Temple of Music and Art, 330 S. Scott Avenue. Two totally different shows are scheduled for 4-5 p.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 adults, $5 children under 12. Stories that Soar! Is a part of Literacy Connects.
